DJ Hotwax is Joseph Jilovec’s independent music identity: a place for jazz, hip-hop, global rhythms, electronic music, cinematic atmosphere, and whatever comes next.
THE IDEA
Follow the atmosphere, not the category.
The project is built around a simple creative rule: a release does not have to match the last release, but it should feel considered. Different tempos, languages, instruments, and scenes can live under one name when the world around the music is coherent.
The through-line is late-night polish, cinematic pacing, strong visual direction, and music that creates a specific place in the listener’s head.
